Our Privacy Policy
Miles Ahead are committed to protecting your privacy. Please read our Privacy Policy carefully so that you understand how we collect and use the personal information which you provide to us.
YOUR INFORMATION
When you take up our services, we will take your name and home address, and any further addresses of places you need to be collected (ie work or college) so that we are able to provide our services.
Before the first lesson, we will require details of your provisional or full driving licence so that we can check for any endorsements or restrictions (a legal requirement).
If booking driving tests on your behalf we will require your full name, address, email address and driving licence details. We may ask for your theory test pass certificate number, as it is required for practical test booking.
For training purposes, a progress record may be kept along with your personal and license data.
At the time of passing your driving test, we will ask for a photo of you with your pass certificate, for publication on our website and our social media pages, for marketing purposes (this is entirely optional).
You may choose to make payments by BACS. In this case, we only store the transaction details for accounting purposes, and not your banking details. The mobile banking app or website that you used will store your banking details, but nothing is stored separately by us.
The above data are held in our written diary and records, on our PC or mobile phone (these are kept either with us or at our office at all times). Email correspondence is stored on a secure server.
